RackForce Overview

RackForce Networks is a privately held ICT service provider based in Kelowna B.C., Canada. Founded in 2001 by entrepreneurs Tim Dufour and Brian Fry, RackForce supports thousands of customers from over 100 countries.

RackForce's roots are based in Internet infrastructure hosting where we earned a reputation for leadership and innovation. RackForce has consistently provided market leading services by selectively leveraging emerging technologies to provide cost effective, innovative offerings. For example, as early adopters of virtualization, Linux and open source management platforms, RackForce has provided more function and performance for the dollar than its' larger peers.

In the 2005-2007 period RackForce developed strategic relationships with major technology leaders, such as Microsoft, IBM and Cisco Systems. This enables RackForce to have early access to game changing intelligence, products and technologies. RackForce translated these advantages into the development of new enterprise-class services, revising our capabilities to focus more directly on the enterprise market.

Today our services are represented in our ‘4 Pillars’ infrastructure services portfolio. We focus totally on infrastructure services - up to, and including the Operating System layer. RackForce's mission is to provide industry leading services that enable organizations to buy infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions, in a cost effective and flexible model, leveraging to as large an extent as practical, the latest technologies and innovations. We deliver these services from our new class-leading ‘GigaCenter’ data center in Kelowna, as well as our secondary Kelowna facility and a Toronto facility.

Business Model

RackForce's operates primarily in a wholesale business model. We enable Reseller Partners to sell RackForce services under their own brand (white label) or as RackForce branded services. Our Reseller Partners own the relationship with the end clients and typically compliment the RackForce solution with additional products and services.

RackForce carefully selects our Reseller Partners and enters into long-term strategic relationships. We are committed to each other's success, and ultimately the highest possible levels of service to our end clients.


Ownership

RackForce is owned by members of the executive management team and private, British Columbia based investors. As a private company, RackForce does not publish financials or ownership information.
